1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, publishing an asset, or using Publishto, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and must not use the service on behalf of someone else without authority.
2. What Publishto provides
Publishto provides temporary hosting for static websites and browser-viewable files. It does not run server-side application code, guarantee continuous availability, provide a private storage vault, or serve as a backup service.
3. Public-by-design hosting and 48-hour deletion
Every published asset and its public URL are accessible to anyone who discovers or receives the link. Publishto does not provide access controls for published content. Public files are scheduled for permanent deletion 48 hours after each publish or edit. Cleanup runs periodically, so removal may occur shortly after the stated expiration time. Republishing or editing starts a new 48-hour period.
You are responsible for keeping your own source files. Publishto cannot restore expired, overwritten, or deleted content. Search engines, archives, recipients, or other third parties may copy public content before deletion; Publishto cannot erase copies held outside its systems.
4. Your content and limited hosting permission
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Publishto a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, process, reproduce, transmit, cache, and display that content only as needed to operate and secure the service during its hosting period.
You represent that you own the content or have all rights needed to publish it, including rights in code, fonts, images, video, trademarks, and personal information.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not upload malware, credential-harvesting pages, deceptive downloads, phishing content, unlawful material, sexual exploitation content, content that violates privacy or intellectual-property rights, regulated data, or material designed to attack, overload, evade, or misuse the service. Do not publish secrets, passwords, private keys, financial information, health records, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal data.
Publishto may suspend links, delete content, limit accounts, or preserve information when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or maintain platform security.
6. Accounts
Your email identifies your account. You are responsible for access to that email and for activity performed through your authenticated session. You may permanently delete your account and hosted assets from the dashboard.
7. Third-party services
Publishto relies on infrastructure and services including Vercel, Cloudflare, Supabase, and, only after consent and configuration, Google Analytics. Their availability and processing are subject to their own terms.
8. Service changes and availability
The service is currently offered as an early release and may change, impose limits, introduce paid plans, or discontinue features. Reasonable notice will be provided for material changes when practical. Emergency security or legal changes may take effect immediately.
9. Disclaimers
Publishto is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Publishto disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and preservation of content. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Publishto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of content, traffic, reputation, or business opportunity. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid Publishto during the preceding 12 months; for a free service, the maximum is USD 50. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. Publishto may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, legal requirements, or material harm to the service or others.
12. Governing rules and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Publishto operator, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction. Updated Terms will show a new effective date and version.
